AUDITING

Auditing can be defined as an on-site objective verification activity and may comprise inspection, evaluation or examination of a process or quality system. An audit can apply to an entire organization or might be specific to a function, process or production step.

In general, Companies like to know that prior to issue an order, if the contractor/vendor/supplier have their systems, processes, infrastructure and capacity in place to meet the requirements. Also they need to ensure that local and international rules, regulations, standards, health and safety are maintained throughout the complete process of manufacturing, certification and delivery.

It shall be noted that most audits determine only compliance and are not focused on good or poor performance. Yet performance is an important concern for most organizations. The Fasttrek approach is to go beyond traditional compliance audits. We describe it as “Added Value Audit” in which constructability and schedule are important added values.

An effective audit helps organizations achieve goals and objectives by measuring overall performance and productivity. It also help reduce costs, improve quality,  raise the level of improvement and prevent delays.

We know that organizations with the best systems and best performance are the companies you want to work with. The corresponding “Approved Vendor Lists Audits” allows you to maintain your current list of approved suppliers up to date in preparation of future projects.
